The Gippsland area covers from Pakenham through to the border and within the Gippsland region, there are 19+ local associations offering domestic and representative basketball opportunities to Gippsland locals.
Gippsland United was created with the vision of uniting all of the Gippsland basketball community to be truly GIPPSLAND UNITED through engagement and participation opportunities.
GU connects with local associations running school holiday camps in different areas across Gippsland allowing associations to promote themselves as well as work with the camps and also earn a share of the profits that the camp makes. GU Camps, since 2022, have reached over 1500 kids earning local associations over $18,000.

Gippsland United offers local associations and clubs the opportunity to engage with the Big V Program by attending home games, sitting baseline with their team and watching some of the best local and international basketballers compete in a state competition.
Gippsland United wants to make basketball accessible to the whole community. To align with this, GU is introducing an All Ability Basketball Program which will enable those with a disability to learn and participate in a basketball program in a relaxed but fun and friendly environment.
All sessions will be delivered in a relaxed setting allowing participants to focus on their skills and make friendships through teamwork.
Whilst some sessions may include a game at the end of the session, this program aims to develop basketball skills through training sessions and drills.
Running on a Wednesday from 10:30am to 11:30am at Gippsland Regional Indoor Sports Stadium.
Cost: $15 per session ($90 for the program).
Starts: August 21 through to September 25.
All equipment is provided but participants can bring their own basketball if preferred.
