Gippsland United is now inviting Expressions of Interest for VJBL Coaches and Assistant Coaches for the upcoming representative season.

We are seeking passionate, committed, and community-minded coaches to help lead and develop our junior athletes across the following age groups:

• Under 12s
• Under 14s
• Under 16s
• Under 18s

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing representative program focused on player development, teamwork, culture, and creating positive basketball experiences for Gippsland athletes.

All coaches and assistant coaches must hold the appropriate Basketball Australia coaching accreditation in line with Basketball Victoria and VJBL requirements.

Minimum accreditation requirements include:

• Teams 1–3: Competition Level Accreditation (Head Coach) and Participation Level Accreditation (Assistant Coach)
• Teams 4 and below: Participation Level Accreditation for both Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches

All applicants must also:

• Hold a current and valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)
• Meet all Basketball Victoria child safety requirements
• Demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills
• Support the values and culture of Gippsland United
